Samuel de Champlain

Have you ever heard of Samuel de Champlain?
 He was French.


His life span was 1567 to 1635. 
He was the son of  Antoine Champlain, who was a sea
captain, and Marguerite Le Roy. 
He was well educated.  His
career was that he was a French explorer,  cartographer,  and
navigator. He was the Founder of
Quedec city known as the father of
Canada.




In 1567 Samuel de Champlain was born at
Brouage Saintonge in France. 
Samuel de champlain went with his father and his uncle on various sea
voyages.  He was in the French
army.
